The second commandment ‘Thou shall not make a graven image, or bow down to it does not exist in the Roman Catholic version. Their second commandment is our third. To bow down to statues and people is a great sin in God’s eyes. Unbelievably those who formulated the official Roman Catholic Catechism took the liberty of deleting the second of the commandments and then splitting the tenth into two, thus keeping the total at ten! It’s therefore understandable why many sincere Roman Catholics are bowing down to Saints and statues, even though God’s law clearly prohibits it!
