“He who wins souls is wise” (Proverbs 11:30).

The average person dies at 70. If you’re 20 you have 2,500 weekends left. 1,500 weekends if your 40 and only 500 weekends if you’ve reached sixty!

The Bible acknowledges that man’s greatest fear is well founded. “What man can live and not see death, or save himself form the power of the grave!”

Knowing time is running out is a powerful motivator to do all those things and go to all those places you’ve dreamed of.

If you’ve reached fifty you only have 7,300 days left to do it. Are you beginning to understand how important it is to make everyday count!

The writer of Psalms made this request to God “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom” (Psalm 90:12).

Many people however are not living wisely. Many are living like they’re going to live forever, doing as they please carrying on in direct rebellion against God.

However the Bible makes it clear that a Judgement Day has been appointed in which everyone will give account of himself to God (Hebrews 9:27). God knows every action, every thought, he knows what we are really like inside. “For all have sinned” (Romans 3:23).

However God has provided a way that guilty sinners can be forgiven, avoid hell and be reconciled to God. God sent Jesus into the world. “Whilst we were still sinners Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).
Reader, now is the time to consider these things, for one day it will be too late!

The Bible tells us to “Seek the Lord, while He may be found” (Isaiah 55:6) We need to accept we are sinners and turn to Christ whilst we are alive; when we are dead it is to late! If you’re willing to seek God right now for your salvation and are willing to forsake your sins and start living for God, I would like to suggest the following...

Find a quiet time and place to come before the Lord Jesus in prayer. Read Psalm 51 out loud if it helps. Tell him you need saving and ask him to save you. Admit that you’re a sinner. Ask the Lord to forgive you and believe that his shed blood is sufficient payment for your sin. Don’t just say your sorry but repent, turn away from sin, and trust in Jesus. Then read your Bible everyday and obey what it says.

HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU HAVE?
